“Wonderful day at the Yarra Valley”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2012

My husband and I were very impressed with this tour.
From the initial contact with Paul for the booking to the actual tour with Stephen, everything was so professional and a delight!
The choices of wineries to visit were well considered and I am pretty sure satisfy any wine conosseur from beginner to the most advanced.
We recommend to anyone wanting to experiment quality!

“A great way to spend a very hot day in Melbourne”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2012

When we decided to go to Melbourne for a few days and saw that we were in for a heat wave the idea of a day in the Yarra Valley seemed a good idea.

From the time we made our booking through to the end of the tour we were not disappointed.

Stephen was low key and very knowledgeable. The wineries we visited were all very interesting and quite different - Coldstream's Pinot an absolute highlight. Yering Station for lunch - a beautiful setting and great food.

The car was very comfortable and cool given it was 40!

Thoroughly recommend this as a great day.

“Sunny Day in the Yarra Valley !”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 21, 2011

This was a great tour, small amount of people and Stephen our tour guide was fantastic, knew melbourne quite well.

The only small issue was that the wineries that we visited were very large on a commercial scale, would be nice to visit some smaller wineries in the region.

would recommend this tour to anyone !

Thanks for the response and pleased the day was a success and you'd be happy to recommend it. The demand is for the larger, more commercialised wineries especially amongst the international visitors who travel with us. Our tours to the Mornington Peninsula and Macedon Ranges visit the more boutique wineries, given both regions are less commercialised than the Yarra Valley. Hopefully we can get you to one of these regions when you're next across this way.

“It was a lovely day in the Yarra Valley with Vinetrekker!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 18, 2011

We truly enjoyed the wine tour - the best wine tour we have been on! The highlight of the day would be the lunch at Yearing Station - great food, fabulous wine and beautiful view! We also loved that there were only four of us - we enjoyed the exclusiveness! Stephen was a great guide and was quite patient with us because we were really taking our time at some of the stops - we truly enjoyed the view at the second winery (I cannot recall the name of the winery but it was the smallest winery from what Stephen told us) that we were got a bit delayed to get on to the next one. I would do this wine tour all over again when I get to Melbourne in the future!

Delighted that the day measured up to your expectations and it was the best tour you've been on. No problems with the delay during the day, it happens a lot so we're quite used to it. The Warramate Vineyard was the small one you visited and I can appreciate why you'd lose time there, the views are superb. Look forward to having you travel with us when you're next in town.
