Stayed overnight. First of all, the staff at desk was very friendly. Room was big and comfortable and very clean. Reasonable rate which also comes with free internet. I could hear people walking on the corridor but didn't bother much. Great location. The only thing is (but this may be due to not looking carefully enough) but I can't seem to find any cutlery or bowls etc although there is a small kitchenette with frying pan / pot!

On my business trip to Melbourne, I stayed at Citadines on Bourke for 5 nights which coincided with the Australian Tennis Open period. Despite the peak season, room rate for Citadines was still within a reasonable value.

Location was perfect! Tram stop right outside the hotel that has trams running to most places like Harbour Town outlet mall, St Kilda beach area, and the Parliament train station just 5 minute walk away, which brings you outside the Melbourne city. Flinder station and the main shopping area is just 10 min walk away! ChinaTown is just 1 block away. Best part about staying in Citadines is to get to enjoy the best breakfast cafes in the CBD area. The Post Buliding is just next to the hotel which has a handful of cafes that served amazing breakfast and coffee, highly recommend UrbanDeli and The Mess Hall (1 block street away). Most of these cafes open as early at 7.30am which fits well for my work schedule. Whether you wanna pay AUD28 for the hotel breakfast, for a quick 5min morning walk to the best breakfast cafes ( an egg benedict with a coffee at AUS12-16), total your choice~

Service in Citadines was superb, all the staff on duty that I met during my stay were always friendly and approachable.Thumbs up to Summer. As I arrived on an early morning flight and room wasnt ready, she gave me access to the gym area where I get to use the washroom to freshen up after my red-eye flight. Summer's bright and bubbly personality left a great and warm impression upon check-in. She always make the guest feel welcome with her approachable smile and she is a great help for almost everything from direction, dinning recommendation, taxi booking, bag deposits, Australiann Tennis Open schedule!

I got a 1 bedroom suite during my stay, spacious, with queen bed that were formed by 2 single beds ( can get a little uncomfortable for single occupant who sleeps in the middle of the queen bed), Room was clean, toilet was clean and dry. There are all the mini kitchen area in the room with the necessary utensils like pots and pans even an microwave oven and electric stove for simple meal preparation. Love that they didnt stuff up the entire fridge with the minibar items, instead leave ample space for guest to store up drinks for the hot summer. Supermarkets are just 2 blocks away with Coles and Woolworths.

Thumbs up to Citadines on Brouke, Highly recommend to everyone on a holiday in Melbourne.

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights in Feb 2014 in the 1-bedroom executive suite. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the view was fantastic & the bathroom was also great! The location was perfect with a tram stop right outside the hotel, bars & food surrounding & a short walk to Flinders station or the crown casino. The staff were all incredibly friendly & welcoming. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere perfect to stay.

We stayed at citadines for a girls weekend in Jan-Feb 2014. We booked 2 x 2 Bed apartments. They were clean, modern and spacious. We were all grateful for the 2 bathrooms as 4 women trying to get ready for a night on the town needed the extra mirrors! Both rooms had the 2 bathrooms each and they were all very spacious. Only small gripe (if I had to pick) was that the bedroom I stayed in was a little small and was hard to get around the bed when cupboards were being used. Maybe the bathrooms could have shrunk in size a little as they were very large. But it was only a minor inconvenience. The staff were very accommodating, and let us leave luggage after checkout till our transfer arrived. They also gave us some tips on a cute cocktail bar which ended up being our first stop and it was a perfect way to start the trip! We will definitely stay here again, great location, modern, clean, friendly staff, just great!

We stayed for 3 nights recently and as it was our first visit to Melbourne was very pleased with our location. Also very pleased that the Citadines on Bourke was a dedicated drop off/ pick up for the skybus shuttle, so that made our journey from Sydney less stressful.
The reception we received was wonderful, this continued throughout our stay as we were greeted warmly by staff. We didn't realise we were so close to Chinatown and fortunate to be there during new year , so they were very busy , but still accommodated us with early check in.
We stayed in a studio apartment that was clean & had everything you need for a home away from home, there is a kitchen which you can cook a meal if you wish, but hey you're in Melbourne you only have to walk out the door for wonderful eating.
It was very hot in Melbourne so it was great to return here after a busy day exploring. This really was the only issue we had was the aircon wasn't working properly, however the very helpful duty manager Amir fixed it for us without bother.
I highly recommend the Citadines, and we will be returning next year for a week to stay again.
The other bonus is the tram stop right outside your door & the quick walk to bourke st mall & other sights.

It is wonderful to read you enjoyed your time with us during Chinese New Year and our Guest Service Team were able to contribute to your memorable stay, I will certainly pass on your review to them as they will be pleased they assisted in the enjoyment of your visit.

We are indeed lucky to be so centrally located and have such easy access around Melbourne and from the airport, though more importantly lucky to be a hop, skip and a jump from delicious Chinatown!

We hope next time you visit Melbourne you choose to come back and visit us again.

This is the second time I have stayed here, and I am always happy with the service. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Beds comfortable, rooms serviced everyday, which is a pleasure when on holiday. Internet was free in the room with no restriction, This is handy for people working from home.
There was only two comments I would make and that there was no coffee plunger in the rooms. I requested one and received it. I am lead to believe they are going to make them more available.
The other comment was lack of luggage scales to check baggage weight prior checking out. Also they are purchasing more.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your valued feedback, it is through feedback like yours that we can improve our services and amenities that we offer our guests. You are indeed correct we are looking at purchasing more coffee plungers for all rooms and scales for check-out and are pleased to know that you would find both useful.

We appreciate you continuing to return to Citadines and hope to see you again when you are next in town.
