Really pleased with this. The two bed was very clean and really comfortable. Would definitely stay here again! My friend stayed here a couple months ago and was also very pleased. Great central location.

Situated as they are on the main shopping street in Melbourne, you could not find a better location for your stay in this fantastic city. The apartments are very reasonably priced compared to hotel accomodation in the city and are huge compared to the average hotel room. A galley kitchen is fitted with a fridge, freezer, hob, microwave, toaster and teapot! The lounge had a decent flat screen tv, a comfortable sofa and a work area for those unfortunate enough not to be in Melbourne on holiday. The walk in shower was enormous and the bathroom area was very clean and spacious. The bedroom had a large comfortable bed with a variety of lighting options availale.

The staff on the front desk and the maintenance guy, Chris, were extremely helpful. We had a few problems with wifi access in our room and they went out of their way to get it sorted for us, even offering a change of room when they explained that it could not be fully sorted until the following day. The wifi issue was beyond the control of the hotel staff so I have no hesitation in awarding five out of five for this accommodation.

My husband and myself have been regular visitors to Melbourne and this is the 1st time staying at the Citadines on Bourke. Location is great and very convenient to CBD, and just a short walk to the free city circle tram. Our deluxe studio was on the 8th floor just outside the lifts. I was a little worried to start with about noise from the lifts and people coming and going. There was no noise from the lifts and people seemed to be very respectful with regard to noise. The room was very clean and comfortable. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The refit of this hotel has been done to a high standard with quality fittings and finishings. We found Citadines to be good value for money and would definitely consider staying here again.

Stayed at this apartment for a Birthday weekend. Looked alot nicer in the pictures. The window faced another building, so the room was very dark with no natural light. This caused friends to get headaches, and made the room feel like we were trapped in a hospital. On the positive side the staff were very friendly, amazing location, and the rooms were very spacious and modern.

My wife and I stayed 5 days (4 nights) in Citadines in November 2013. The hotel was nicely situated in the CBD area, within minutes to Parliament train station. The bus stop of the free city circle bus service is also nearby. You can also walk to different parts of the CBD such as Chinatown and the various shopping malls.

The service in the hotel was professional and the room was cleaned everyday except Sunday. The fully equipped kitchen was useful for simple cooking and heating up of food.

Definitely worth a stay!
