We only spent a night at Crown Metropol, but found it amazing on many levels.

Love the design of the rooms - plenty of space and very clever bathroom.

The staff were very efficient, friendly and non-stuffy.

The pool area is incredible. Melbourne's highest hotel pool with great views down the Yarra River.

Our only disappointment was the quality of food with room service. In truth it was probably on par with room service at many other hotels, but feel it could be improved.

Room Tip: Aim for a room that gives you good views of the city and the Yarra River.

Welcomed by friendly staff when checking in, thought we were getting an upgrade, as we were told all about the next upgraded room, with city views and larger floor space, but then we were hit with, "that will cost you more money". We said we were happy with the room we booked, and off we went to check it out. Our first reaction was WOW! It was roomy, with a big bed and a long couch/day bed in the corner. We had all the mod cons (even though they were too technical for us to use), that anyone on business wouldn't be disappointed.
We didn't eat here as it was highly expensive, but we did take advantage of having a swim in their infinity pool on the 27th floor. An experience we couldn't pass up on.
Location was great, with the casino, shops and restaurants only a stones throw away, and public transport on the doorstep.

It is great to read that you had an enjoyable night away. The pool on the 27th floor is definitely an amazing facility.
We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

My wife and I spent 4 nights at the Metropol.........it was our first time and will not be our last. Room, location, bed, pillows, pool and the surrounding restaurants were all fantastic. Only downside was the cost of the breakfast. However, a great experience and we look forward to coming back.

Thank you for your review.
I am very pleased that you had a great experience at the Hotel. We are very lucky to be located where we are, with all things Melbourne on our doorstep.
Being first time visitors to the Hotel, the best accolade we can have is when our guests tell us “We’ll be back” – we look forward to it.

Kind regards,

Josh O’Brien

Room was great, spotless, great bed, comfy pillows, tv, big shower. Only downfall was no bath.

Location is amazing - dinner, movie & hotel all in one place. So many dining options to choose from.

Service, polite and quick service. Easy checkout.

Overall a great experience would go back again.

Thank you for your very complimentary review.
It sounds like you took advantage of quite a few of the many services within the Crown Complex. I am thrilled that you had a great time.
Whilst we do not have baths in all our rooms, our lofts (suites) do provide an oversized bath if so desired.
Thanks again and look forward to welcoming you back.

Regards,

Stayed at many 5 star hotels in melbourne, and this one is my favorite by far. Spacious modern clean room, on the 26th floor with city view, what more could you ask for! Bed was comfortable, bathroom spotless, we just had to walk up a few steps outside our room to go to the pool on the 27th floor, well...what can i say? Breathtaking! Amazing pool with city views all around, no hotel in Melbourne has that, could sit there all day starring outside, really nice. The spa is set at 38 degrees, hot but sooo relaxing. I have nothing bad to say about our stay (i can be quite picky), staff was friendly, room was great (2653), i would recommend Metropol to everyone, price is good, i have paid up to $500 in other hotels in Melbourne, which now i think for what? Metropol cost me $233 for room only 30 day in advance purchase, well worth it, will be staying again for sure. Hope this review helps, and others have the same nice expirience i had, enjoy!

Room Tip: City view on the 26th floor, so quiet and nice view
