Well worth a visit, especially after visiting the fantastic Old Melbourne Gaol just a few minutes walk away. The main attraction for us was seeing the original Ned Kelly armour having leant much about him at the Gaol, where he was hanged. But the armour aside, the library is an impressive place in its own right, with a nice overview of Victorian history as well as the wonderful reading room. The cafe too deserves a mention, with great coffee and nice eating options, as well as friendly staff. A top spot in a city full of them.
