“Always great food and value for money”
Reviewed July 4, 2012 via mobile

There are many Yum Cha restaurants in Melbourne and this is the best I have found to date. The quality of the food is of a high standard and the service is to match.

Lunch Monday to Friday is $16:90pp all you can eat and with everything avalable including sticky rice, steamed buns, prawns or scallop rice noodle, mixed dumplings or try the chickens feet there will be something for every one.

“Worst All-You-Can-Eat”
Reviewed July 3, 2012

Sure 16.80$ for all you can eat is appealing,
However we realized that this was not true.
The waitress prevented us from ordering 3 of the dumplings (i.e 3 set of 3 dumplings) despite we were 10 people on one table, saying that we are eating too much.
What kind of "all-you-can-eat" tells you that?

Even worst, we had the chance to get Egg Tarts as dessert...
However the waitress only allowed us to take 2 egg tarts FOR 10 PEOPLE!!!

“Our families favourite!!”
Reviewed June 21, 2012

We love Yum Cha - in fact it is our favourite dining out experience ever!! We often try new places and most are great but the best value is by far is the mid week lunch dining here.. Set price is great for the familiy as we have 4 kids who all love it but it gets a bit pricey... The staff are always friendly, the drink prices are reasonable, the tea is fabulous too.... We will be back again next week with the kids to indulge, they are all very excited as we don't have Yum Cha in Albury... The only downfall is the parking, but we are training it down this time so it won't matter.

“New Favourite for YumCha”
Reviewed November 30, 2011

We come over from Scotland regularly and usually visit the Shark Fin Inn on Lt Bourke but this time, as we couldn't get a table we ventured onto Lonsdale and tried here. What a great alternative. The food is broadly similar to SFI but probably a little cheaper. We visited 3 times in 2 weeks but the big bonus was going midweek when we found you got an all you could eat menu for $16.80. Superb. They just kept coming by and offering what you fancied. Nice staff and the food was top notch.
