I attended a conference and exhibition here, and thought that the venue was great. Was close to Melbourne transport, accommodation and attractions for delegates.

Great for exhibitions of all sorts and well served by public transport. It is a long way to walk to the furthest spaces for older people? golf carts should be available for them.

Parking was too far away and there were few signs to point in the direction of where I needed to go. Layout was okay and for a venue to hold a show like the Reed Fair it was good.

Of course the structure is something people travel miles to see, esp the young architectural students, but for me it simply depends on what exhibitions are held there. Not far from Polly Woodside it is something you can walk thru whilst visiting the ship, and may be of some enjoyment to those who do. Personally, it's great for the exhibitions and in an excellent area for parking and train.

Good acoustics, ease of movement. Could do with more seating whilst waiting to enter theatre, and as usual not enough toilets when major event is taking place.
