A spare reception and dark gloomy hallways are not particularly welcoming but the rooms are a good size and well appointed. I liked the cityside view and the fact you could easily access the Convention Centre. If I wasn't attending a conference, I would still stay in the CBD but would happily return to the Hilton the next time a conference was on. My only gripe was the expensive WiFi. Charging for it at all let alone at the Hilton rate suggests a hotel chain that doesn't really understand its client's needs.
