A mate of mine claimed to have eaten some good food at a place called Red rice, after a few laps of the city it was called Red Spice Road and it was worth the effort. Ice cold beer is a good sign and after a very short wait with no booking we had a good table. 5 blokes agreed to pile heaps of food into the middle and "see how we go" . The entree's were spot on and each one was full of flavour. I liked the scallops best but they were all good. Highlights of dinner were the Pork Belly, the mud crab, the curry and these super little chop things that looked like small crumbed bones but were extraordinary. Biggest tip is hang for the dessert - We had Ice cream atop a coconut and pistachio "custard" (no idea if that's right but it's my word) with glace fruity things - stunning. best dessert i've had for ages and i get stuck into them often! worth a look!
