We booked this place on a whim for dinner after work, and what a revelation it turned out to be.
The three of us shared three main dishes between us, with an additional entree - and that really turned out to be too much food. The servings themselves are quite generous.
We had the much reviewed (and praised) pork belly, which was totally delicious - this is a *must* have for anyone wanting to enjoy the best this restaurant has to offer. We also had the minced wagu, which was nice enough, but not nearly a rich as the pork belly in its flavour. The final main was a chicken salad, which had a lovely flavour to it.
The service was also pretty good, and while not as excellent as the food, the staff were attentive and quick to notice that we needed our water glasses refilled or wanted to order something. The food showed up very quickly, so we were able to enjoy our food before the restaurant filled.
The atmosphere is best enjoyed when the establishment isn't full - there are a lot of hard surfaces and as a result, it gets very noisy. We started eating just after 7pm and conversation became impossible by about 8pm it filled up with other clients. It is worth bearing that in mind when selecting a time or deciding whether the restaurant is suitable for your function.
But, what a fantastic meal - we'll definitely go back and introduce friends to the delights that we discovered. I'm quite happy to recommend this to anyone wanting to enjoy fusion style food at its best!
