Beds and furniture really comfy. Big rooms. good spaces. Nice and sunny room. Great location and views after we asked for a room with a view since we were staying 2 weeks. No free wifi - remarkable in this day and age. Bathrooms old and tired and a bit grotty. Good kitchen but oven needs to be spotless. Staff were fabulous. Traffic is very noisy and there is no proper insulation between the apartments if other guests talk late into the night.

Room Tip: A high room with a view onto the park is a must.

Hi Kayrobbo,

Thanks for your review of your stay at Mantra on the Park. I am pleased to hear you enjoyed the majority of your two week stay with us. As with most hotels in Melbourne CBD there is a light level of traffic noise as the city goes about its business, however with all our hotel rooms beginning on level 6 of the building we actually are not effected as much as most hotels.

We hope to see you again when next coming to Melbourne!

Kind Regards
Michael McKinnon

Reasonable place, good location. Disappointed in the 2 bed apartment , rooms were pokey and the whole place had a claustrophobic feel about it. Ok, but not good value at the price. This was a Wotif mystery deal - you win some you lose some !

Hi Simmy_Halo,

Thanks for your review. It is disappointing to hear you thought the room was pokey, at an average size of 78m2 our Two Bedroom Apartments are actually some of the most spacious in Melbourne with all Two Bedroom Apartments having two bathrooms and opening up to private balconies with either city or park views!

Had a fantastic 4 days in Melbourne with girlfriends staying in a 2 bedroom apartment at the Mantra on the Park. Great location with the free tram stop outside, walking distance to Lygon Street and theatres. Hotel clean and tidy, bathrooms a bit dated, but perfect for our requirements.

Room Tip: Book breakfast day before for a cheaper rate

Fabulous two bedroom apartment! The washing machine and dryer came in incredibly handy while travelling with two children under three. Impeccable housekeeping, well stocked kitchenette, room service available from the restaurant at very reasonable prices. The buffet breakfast was gorgeous and incredibly cheap! All the staff were friendly and respectful. We will be back for sure!
