Found this friendly cafe while walking around the markets. Nice spot to take a break & watch the world go by.

Delicious salads, beautiful vegan/gluten-free chocolate cake and banana bread. Didn't try the coffee.

Invita is located next to the organic section in Queen Victoria Market. Apparently, its the only place in QV market serving full vegetarian/vegan menu. They had lots of gluten free options in bakery as well. The sitting is a bit tight. Ordered a slice of orange, fig and almond cake and latte. Arrived fairly quickly. Both tasted alright. Its a great place for healthy eating, vegetarian/vegan and gluten free food but the taste of their food is not fitting everyone's palate.

Yes, it was smallish in size but there were many types of food available. Go early if you want more options. Located along Therry St ( small street next to the Organic/ Deli area of the QVM).

We had a Fritata and a Med wrap. It was full of flavour and nutrients ( eg. seeds, fresh ingredients). That is what I liked about this place. The ingredients tasted fresh and a creative way to eat Veg without losing the thrill of eating. Priced reasonable for most budget. Portions are big and can be shared if you are a small eater.

This place is nestled next to the Organic section of the QV Markets and fit's in perfectly, from what I've seen on the menu all the food is vego and from local and/or organic produce for the most part.

We've eaten breakfast here more than a few times over multiple trips to Melbourne and neither it or the Coffee disappoints!

The cakes look absolutely amazing with plenty of Gluten Free and Vegan options available
