Smolt has a Spanish leaning to its menu and drinks but it's a bit broader European than that. The standard of cooking is high and the service attentive and friendly. Our mains took a half hour to arrive but there was a very large party there at the same time so the kitchen was under pressure. The decor is modern, a curious mix of dark colours and industrial style. It's quite a large restaurant but is sensibly divided into several separate spaces that make it more intimate. It is quite a noisy place due to all of the glass and metal surfaces but no more than most restaurants of its type. We had a pleasant evening and a very good meal.
