A very enjoyable 3 course meal at Remi. The calamari stew was excellent as was the rabbit casserole. Ample portions, very good service, casual atmosphere. Bistro was half full on a midweek evening and a bit noisy but typical of a French style Bistro. We will return to try the lamb.

A great little find in Hobart that local and visitors alike need to experience.
It has been a long time since we have recommended a restaurant in Hobart to anyone but this one for me is on the MUST list.
The food is unbelievable and something that you will talk about for many weeks. The wine cellar is well stocked with a variety of price points.
The service is refreshing.
We love the Cassoulet and the Twice cooked lamb and you defnitely shouldn't miss the Creme Brulee.

We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary at Remi de Provence, and had one of the best dinners we have had. I had the rabbit which was sensational, huge flavours and my husband had the twice cooked lamb which he is still raving about. Finished with tarte tartin and creme brulee (my husband thought it the best he has had, and he has a lot of experience with creme brulee!!!). The wine selection is outstanding and buying at bottle shop prices with corkage is a bonus. A wonderful dining experience, we may have to go back to Tasmania soon.

I spent a lot on a burgundy in their bottle shop and thought the $25 corkage was a total rip off considering they made a good profit on the sale of the wine. Left a bad taste after a good night.

We were fortunate to book on a night with a set menu of many courses and the option of set matching wines. It was not cheap but it was worth every cent. This was the stand out dining experience of our 12 day trip around Tasmania.
