I'd walked past here many times and it always seemed popular. Finally had a chance to call in for lunch, but only had 40 mins. I was greeted straight away and asked to take a seat. Only a short wait later a staff member came over with a menu and took my drink order. A short time after that my FABULOUS Bloody Mary arrived and my food order was taken. It arrived in a good time ( a lamb sandwich with haloumi), and was absolutely delicious. All in all a great all round experience: friendly and prompt service, great food and a bloody good Bloody Mary. I'll make a bigger effort to get back there on a regular occurrence in the future.

We have really enjoyed it here the last two times we visited. Friendly service and the coffee and cakes were top quality. Seems like a really busy cafe!

This is a great place to have an amazing coffee and choice of cake/muffin/brownie or breakfast (small but good range including eggs, porridge etc), lunch (paninis etc) and/or a beer. Great service, food and prices. And a good choice of seating, inside or out on a small but not too busy side street.

This small cafe has improved heaps since changing hands - the menu has grown and the service improved under the new management - more attentive and menu options. The coffee is great as is the menu choices for vegetarian and meat lovers alike. It has a communal table in the middle but other seating available around the perimeter and outside. This is a really nice spot and well worth a second chance. I believe the new operator of this cafe is linked with Machine Laundry Cafe in Salamanca Square so maybe this has something to do with the positive transition.

Stopped in this place for a light bite to eat for lunch. Downstairs was full so asked if we should head upstairs which is what we did. Found a table for two without any issues. Waitress came and asked for our order- a beer, chicken sandwich and halloumi salad. The menu was small but lived up to its description of being "street style" and there was a good selection of wholesome food.

Both the chicken sandwich and salad were okay, however the sandwich was too dry and needed more sauce. Also, the salad had a lot of lemon juice which is not mentioned on the menu which ruined it for me. If it had stated there was going to be lemon juice on this I would have asked for it without and it would have been a good salad. The serving size on both of these were good and there was plenty of halloumi in the salad. Overall, the atmosphere was okay, and the service was good, however like another reviewer has mentioned there was an odd feeling from the chef and waitress when we went to pay for our food. Would probably try another cafe when next in the city.
