I crossed and recrossed this bridge whilst on holiday and every time there was a problem.
I found the road system confusing and traffic heavy Once it just stopped for about 15 minutes. There are speed cameras for the 70K limit but its scary to drive faster than 60.
Try not to think about the disaster when a ship knocked out the central span.

I mean there are heaps of bridges out there that look exactly like it. Its not a particular must see so don't worry if you miss it, however if you are going to do day trips out of hobart you are very likely to cross this bridge to get to your destination.

Very sturdy bridge to drive over whilst taking in the views and exploring another part of beautiful Tasmania. Helps keep the mind in a peaceful place when travelling back to our cabin of a night time. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises add a special element that is very picturesque. Love the concept of its structure.

The Tasman Peninsula has a rugged eastern coastline, and much of it is now the Tasman National Park. Eaglehawk Neck has many strange rock formations, that include The Devils Kitchen, Tasman's Arch, Blow Hole and the Tessellated Pavement.
While these look best on a nice day, on a stormy day the waves crashing on the coast, and roaring through the blow hole add something to the area.
The Tasman Peninsula is also the home for Port Arthur Historic Site, and the above places are on the way and only a few kilometres off the main road.
Worth a visit, make the effort.

Great to drive... imagine this is your daily commute! If you want to look, don't drive yourself. Best to walk if you want to take photos. Well worth it.
