“Interesting and quirky”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 10, 2014 via mobile

This is rather unusual with no fine dining and backyard chairs with cable pylon reels for tables. Add the fake grass floor and the burgers are delivered in pizza boxes. Diffrrent. But the burgers were good and home made buns a delight.
Well worth a visit for a quick lunch.

“Getting a bit expensive”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2014

Dropped in for a burger, $12?? Started out as a cheap place to eat, not so much now. The Angus cheeseburger burger was yummy, would have been ok with about $8. Better value to found elsewhere in Hobart.

“Excellent - but keep track on Facey”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2014

Excellent - breakfast lunch and tea! But watch on their facebook page for hours/sell outs - which change often.
Rustic setting for wholesome food. Take outs with a bit of meat and a couple of salads are also a great option.

“Sellouts”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 5, 2014

This place is overhyped garbage. When they first opened the food was reasonably prices, along with the drinks, and they were proud to boast this. Over time, however, it seems that "Zip" and co have become money hungry and are now charging far more than is deserved for their charred and underpresented rubbish. The restaurant itself is uncomfortable and not in the slightest bit enjoyable to eat in. Much better restaurants in Hobart than this.

“Sitting next to a wheelie bin?”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2014

Went here after all the hype and was very disappointed. Waited absolutely ages for 100g of dried out meat that was pretty much tasteless. Decor is dirty, there was a large tables with no chairs (?) and the sides were fine but overall the food was on the expensive side for a dingy cafe. For the same money there are much nicer restaurants around, certainly wouldn't want to go here for a special occasion. I get it - it's food truck food in a cafe but it's not food truck prices.
