Roaring Grill is the newest restaurant to open in the North Hobart strip. It is a primarily a steakhouse with a few other options for those who want something different from red meat.
Prices start around $25 for mini burgers with chips through to $70 for a prime Wagyu cut. Good choice of sides as well including onion rings, mash potato and salad. Plenty of wine starting from the low $30's.
We dined during their opening week and felt a little rushed but we think the service staff were just eager to please.
The food was excellent, although the chef did not allow us to swap chips for onion rings which was a little strange.
The atmosphere and setting is very individual including exposed brick walls, an interesting place setting and separate bar area.
This is a good addition to North Hobart.
