We've been to Redred twice in the past four months mostly because it serves Cape Grim beef (grass fed, hormone free). The first time it was a Friday night: the food was good, but service was slow & uninformed. We went back tonight (Thursday). We had a Tasting Trio (nice prawns, decent ocean trout confit, calamari on the soggy side) & a Caesar Salad (pretty good, generous). Mains were Bistecca Rossa (still tender at perfectly medium well as requested) & Filet Mignon. Dessert was Quince Pie (nice balance of sweet & tart with crisp base). Service was superb (a different person from our first visit): friendly, informed, accommodating, attentive & well-paced.
