This is the cutest little spot in town and very cozy in the winter time. The food can't be beat and great coffee

When on work trips in Hobart, I always drop in for a coffee or breaky. Its warm, inviting and cozy. The guys there are soooo friendly and happy to see you.
Try the eggs, and the muesli is great with aloe vera.

This is the cutest cafe in every aspect - the decor, the staff, the food, the teapots and the building.
I've been here 3 times now and have eaten twice. Both meals have been freshly made with local produce and quality bread. Nice flavours and well priced. I don't drink tea but all comments have been positive and they have an extensive list to choose from. The hot chocolate though is delicious. The two main staff/owners are really friendly and attentive, while the setting is comfortable and warm. Nice outside sitting area.
Would definitely recommend.

We had a good breakfast at Pollen Tea Room, consisting of the Baked Green Eggs and the Regular Baked Eggs.

While the flavours were generally good, both dishes were let down by a couple of small details; a little bit too much acidity in the regular baked eggs, while the green baked eggs were a touch too oily for our liking.

That being said, both dishes were still very tasty and were very welcome on a cold Hobart morning!

The ambience of Pollen Tea Room is great, with the small room full of great hand made timber furniture and other bits and pieces. Seating is limited and quite tight, but this also adds to the friendly buzz of the place.

Thoroughly recommended, just not the best we've had in Hobart.

Charming surroundings, lovely food, and inventive, delicious drinks. The real stand out though is the warm welcome from owners Matt and Shae - this place feels like home.
