I highly recommend going to this market in Hobart. Wide variety of goods. I found interesting jewelers and good lavender goods. Requires a lot of walking so be prepared. It rained while I was there but still all vendors there. Good food (I had sausage and great American bagels.

A fun way to fill in a Saturday morning if you don’t mind crowds and do like markets. In the market stakes this one is quite upmarket with everything from second hand books in good condition to beautiful local timber products and plenty of clothes. Lots of beautiful fresh produce for locals.

Spent a couple of hours walking around the markets savouring the free tastings on offer, checking out the crafty works on display, and simply checking out the various stalls and shoppers. There was any number of food stalls from various countries to tempt the taste buds. A MUST DO WHEN IN HOBART.

So much to see, taste and smell! Bring a bag as you will need it for your finds! Quite a few gin vendors offering tastings and people who are passionate about their business. Lovely Saturday morning stroll.

Wow, what a market! Over 300 vendors selling everything that you could imagine. Quality handcrafted goods made by local artisans plus lots of Australian made products. Plenty of food vendors if you get hungry. We spent three hours walking the stalls and didn’t see it all. This market is a must for any visitor to Hobart.
