“Jackman and Mc Ross at Battery Point - a great place to start!”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

Fabulous food and tea and a great way to start your Battery Point Walk about. The area is so well preserved and you can really feel like you are out on a stroll in 1830 in Hobart town.

“Humour and history”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

We followed a self guided walking trail from the net and spent a very pleasant 3 hours walking around Battery Point. Lots of historical buildings to admire and plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and hotels to pop into to revive oneself. Views of the river are superb. There' s a truly wonderful park, Princes Park, that outlines the history of Battery Point. Take the time to read the info boards. Very amusing.

“Battery Point”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

Walking around this area is like being in another country .
It takes you back to another era. The variety of houses makes walking around and looking fun. We also went to a historic house there which was beautifully maintained & we would recommend that.
