We booked on the day for a night meal, have been there before once, which was ok. This time it was tonight! Arrived on time and noticed that nearly every patron still had their coats on, why?
We were given a table near the window, however upon seeing others looking cold, asked for a table closer to the bar (a little warmer). Commented to our lovely wait staff who said that the floor heating was on but not doing much on such a cold night. We put our hands down on the floor to find it stone cold. Atmosphere could be excellent if warmer, it's a nice restaurant.
Food - had steak, which was generally fine (4 out of 6 had steak). But steak was cold as was pepper sauce. Should we have said something..... Probably.
However, staff excellent, funny, great with our table and others.
Would we go again, not sure, they need to HEAT the restaurant. Wonder what others thought?
