Beautiful heritage listed building, excellent hospitality from Jeff and his staff. Very convenient location. Pleasant surroundings and close to the city and a range of restaurants in easy walking distance.

This is a great B&B. The rooms are moderately sized with nice furniture and appointments. There is free wifi and free parking (confirm with the owner, Jeff, in advance). The decor is lovely and the wonderful guest room, with port and bikkies, is a particular highlight. Jeff is a helpful and obliging host and makes the place that much more pleasant.

Location wise, the Lodge is about 15-20 minutes from Salamanca market and other central sights. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and some great antique shops in the immediate neighbourhood. We've stayed here twice now and will be coming back as we love the place.

Our family of three just spent two wonderful nights at the Lodge on Elizabeth. Our host, Jeff, could not have been more helpful or generous with his time. The Lodge has everything a traveler could need and Jeff provides the information about the area to fill out the Hobart experience. Thanks Jeff.

The Lodge offers reasonably priced, warm, central located accommodation. Staff were generous with sharing their knowledge of Hobart. We highly recommend it, especially to first time visitors to beautiful Hobart. Many thanks to Jeff and Julie for a great break.

We stayed only one night and moved to another hotel as the only room available was too small. All bigger rooms had been occupied. This room is reasonable for a single person but two can hardly manage. However the hotel is a warm and welcoming place, especially for lovers of an old style European design. The place is run by Jeff and his wife who are extremely kind, warm and welcoming. Breakfast is a real good treat - lavish and rich and served with a generous attitude.
If you wish to feel at home away from home - this is the right place to stay while in Hobart.
