“What a nice surprise!”
Reviewed January 19, 2014

I booked a studio room online and when we arrived the following day we were upgraded to a 1br suite, which was a very nice surprise!
The apartment was very clean and tidy, the kitchen was well equipped and I was very impressed to see a spa in the bathroom!
I love the old fashioned windows in the apartment, it was lovely to have them open to let the breeze in.
Trinity House is conveniently located across the road from a Woolworth's and BWS and only a 20 minute walk to the city centre. It is in a nice area of the city which reminds me a little of The Rocks in Sydney.

Thank you for taking the time to offer your feedback on your stay at Quest Trinity House. Where we can we like to offer a free upgrade and it can be a nice surpise on arrival, especially in a spa apartment. Quest Trinity House is conveniently located close to a supermarket as you stated and is ideal when wanting to stay in, cook a meal and relax.
Once again, thank you and we hope to see you again sometime in the future.
Regards
Jodie

Very spacious apartments in a quieter part of Hobart. We travelled as a family and booked into a delux two bedroom apartment, the whole setup was very spacious. Our very active 2 year old had a lot of space to move around and play. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.
The only letdown was no free wifi. I hope they introduce free wifi in the future. Very good overall.

Room Tip: Choose a room away from the Brooker highway as it tends to be a little noisy with night time traffic...

We booked into Quest Trinity for our last night in Tasmania. We were pleasantly surprised to be given a 3 bedroom apartment, although the third bedroom was an alcove off the lounge room with twin beds. Our two children were delighted that they didn't have to share a room. The apartment was 2 storey and next to the main road, but the noise was quite tolerable. The windows were double glazed that blocked out a lot of the noise. Restaurants on Elizabeth Street were just a 5 minute drive away, if you walk you have to cross the main road. Woolworth is over near the restaurants also. The mattresses could do with an upgrade, but I have read in previous reviews that they are slowly upgrading the apartments. Great place to stay.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay. Quest Trinity House is ideally located close to most amenities such as Woolworths which is only a 5 minute walk across the road from our property. It is great to hear your children were happy to not have to share a room, it would have made your last night in beautiful Tasmania all the more enjoyable.
We look forward to welcoming you back some time in the future.

No complaints. Stayed in a large 2 bedroom apartment over 2 floors. Apartment was clean and required no repairs. Upstairs toilet in addition to downstairs bathroom. Located on the highway, though the unit has been double glazed downstairs which makes a big difference. Close to Wollies and easy highway access to pretty much anywhere. Grounds were nice. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Washing machine and drier was very helpful. Price was very reasonable compared to other accommodation - esp. given the size.

Had stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment in Nov 2013.
Found blood stain on one of the bed sheets....
The lock in the bathroom was not working, One of my family members got locked in there for 10 minutes until we found it out........
The lock in the 2nd main entrance door came off when we tried to get into the apartment...
For the 3 nights stay, only a 100ml milk was given for the whole stay.... (for 5 adults !)
Beds were not comfortable at all....
Quite noisy due to next to the main highway......

Worst hotel in my whole tassie trip.....

Room Tip: surely can find a better one somewhere else

This is the second time I have stayed here through work, the first time was I the apartments by the highway which was very noisy from around 05:00 till 18:00 !!!
The apartment was tired looking could do with a good refurbishment.
The second stay is in a ground floor room with very limited cooking ability, basically a electric fry pan and microwave !!
The room smells bad and is also in need of a refurbishment.
Also the free Internet is so slow I think it's on dial up not adsl :(
Not good when you need to work !
All in all I would advise you to look elsewhere.

Thank you for your helpful comments. We are currently in the process of refurbishing our apartments but as you can appreciate with large apartments it can be a lengthy process. Our Studio rooms have a kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, microwave and electric fry-pan so ideal for short stays. We have WI-FI through out our property but I will check with our provider as to why it was slower during your stay.
Thank you for letting us know what we can do better to ensure an enjoyable guest experience.

Jodie

I stayed here for work. I stayed in room 30. It was basically a one bedroom apartment.

Room was extremely large, with a massive cooking area/ living area. Bedroom was of a good size too. There was a second bedroom, but you would use it s more of a storage room, as it had no natural light.

Bathroom was good, good water pressure and washer/ dryer were located in the room.

Service was good, and if you needed anything fixed, etc, it was done straight away.
The location inst too bad. 20 mins walk to waterfront, 15 mins walk to shops in Hobart. There is a woolworths directly opposite it. 20 mins walk to North Hobart where there are restaurants, etc, but there are just as good restaurants in the CBD. I couldn't see the big deal in Nth Hobart.

Only problem is that during winter months its a bit inconvenient to walk to many places, due to the weather, so if you are on holiday, you'll need the services of a taxi.

The only downside I could think of, was cleaning staff turning down the heating during the day. I used to leave the heating on high, as the room is so big and it didn't have a reverse cycle a/c, just an old gas heater.

Would I stay here again, the answer is yes.
