We are paying £468 for 3 nights room only for a nice large bedroom overlooking the harbour here in Hobart. There really isn't anything not to like, maybe apart from a bit of noise off the road but it isn't a problem for us. The restaurant is well rated and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is a guest laundry which is handy for tourists. We would stay here again

Staff very accommodating with an early check-in request on Christmas Day. Rooms seemed to be very nicely maintained, bathrooms were very nice (the shower is a bit strange with half-glass over beside the tub and an overhead shower head, so water would splash out onto the tiles). Standard Australia wi-fi complaints (cost, availability, speed). Would definitely stay there again if I ever get back to Hobart.

It has the best views overlooking Sullivan's Cove, but.... they charge at every step (wifi is charged at a rip-off price, in house movies $34.95 per day, parking $9 per day). No lift access to the underground car park. Overpriced for what it delivers. I've previously stayed at other hotels in Hobart. This was easily the worst value for money, and not a great experience.

Room Tip: Insist on a room overlooking Sullivan's cove. Don't eat there unless you like piped music, as there are brilliant cafes and restaurants nearby.

I stayed at the hotel for three nights on a work trip. The room was good size and I was pleased to be able to check in at 11am. Whilst it is clear they have updated the interior oft he hotel the rooms require attention. My colleague and I both discovered the drainage was woefully inadequate as the bathroom was quickly flooded when we has showers in our respective rooms. The hotel staff were prompt in responding to this issue but it meant showering with a wall of towels to prevent a flood each time. The curtain rail in my room fell of the ceiling. I has not even touched it. Again the staff responded to my concern but it shouldn't have happened and had the potential to hurt someone. The breakfast buffet was elevated by the chef who made fabulous eggs cooked to your specifications. The poached eggs and egg white omelet were superb.

After suffering a car crash days before (with broken ribs), I was sore and sorry after the hospital and when I booked online asking if I could have an early check in (explaining why) - they called me and said that would be fine and even upgraded me to a superior room for no extra cost. The next three days the staff were excellent and were always willing to carry my bag, extend check out, etc. Will stay here from now on.
