Very informative tour of Australia's oldest brewery. Great story of loyalty to the workers and the rebuilding of the brewery after the horrendous bushfires in 1967. Beautiful setting well maintained.

Having previously done this tour, we were visiting Hobart with some friends who wanted to do it, and went along with them. It was raining and a Saturday which meant the tour went for roughly 30 mins, and really explained very little of the brewery and its history. Perhaps because of the rain it was a little more difficult to explain some of the external features of the brewery, but overall the tour was fairly disapointing and won't be in a rush to go again. The previous tour we had was much more in depth and gave a bit more of an insight, both currently and historically. In addition the beers available with your "tokens" were the low end beers, while the food available was heavily overpriced (as was any merchandise/alcohol). Won't be recommending this tour in future.

The tour itself is interesting but the lunchtime food a great disappointment and very expensive. Location is easy to get to by car or public transport.
