We found this bakery / coffee shop when walking to Salamanca so decided to head back the next day for breakfast. The pastries are to die for. Great coffee too. Do check it out when in Hobart.

“New Fave”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2012

Went here 4 or 5 times during our recent trip to Hobart, and loved every part of the place. French style patisserie, has a fantastic range of both sweet and savoury treats, the service can be slow at times as they are often quite busy, and the tables are a bit cramped but other than this I have no complaints. Try the avocado and tomato on toast to start the day followed by one of the danishes!

“Should be more places with food like this”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2012

Something to suit everyone. Just good wholesome food and some good sweet / chocolate fixes as well. Service is often slow because every table is completely full and if you are on your lunchbreak, you have to remind them that you want to be out within the hour. That is the only downside. The food is great. Hope they keep up the high standard of food.

“Great atmosphere and food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2012

Delicious food and lots of vegetarian options which were delicious. You can tell they bake everything themselves and the sweets looked so tempting!! I had the chocolate croissant and it was one of the best I've had. Mains were also delicious, full of flavour. Lovely atmosphere, I'd recommend it for breakfast and lunch.
