A terrific bakery, great bread, cakes, pies and sandwiches. Wholesome food, freshly baked everyday. Real Bread with taste and a fantastic texture. A bakery with a coffee shop. Take the time to sit and soak up the atmosphere. Yes they are busy and very popular at lunch time, it’s worth the wait to taste real food.

The sign says if dining to sit and wait for table service... After 10 mins decided to go and order at the counter. Got a roll of the eye for being impatient.

Ordered a pie, sausage roll and two drinks which then took 20 mins to arrive.

There were only 8 customers and 4 staff so seemed a very long time.

This place would be a real find if they got it right.

My mother and I had flat whites here every morning during our stay in Hobart. It is a very cute, French cafe/restaurant. I am an unapologetic francophile, so I couldn't help but love Daci. It is a great place to establish a morning routine if you are a traveler and staying in Salamanca - it is close enough, just opposite the ferry wharf, but off-the-beaten-Salamanca-path. The food and pastries all looked delicious, and if I lived there, this place would be my regular weekend brunch spot (and bakery for fresh baguettes!).

Forty minutes to serve muesli, forty five minutes to serve cold beans and a twice ordered latte never arrived.
Owner could not have cared less.
Good pies, good sandwiches and average "European pastries".
If you must eat what they make - takeaway is your best option.
