Our guide Clinton was very informative and enthusiastic and giving enough time to appreciate the gorgeous scenery!
Lots of very sad history at the prison however it is manicured and expertly converted into a great museum!

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable of the indigenous and modern history of the region. He kept us on a tight schedule which was great so we could maximize the day. He provided additional clothing if we needed it and recommend the trails best suited for our individual needs.

Great tour but quite a long day. Good to see the Tasmanian devil along with the other wildlife. Also enjoyed Port Arthur where all the UK convicts were jailed.

Booked this trip direct with Tours Tasmania online in advance and the process was very easy. The pick-up at our hotel was right on schedule and we had a lovely day out with our guide Dan. Lots of information, fun and jokes with so much packed into our day. The cost was well worth it!! Port Arthur was so interesting with so much to see. We were very glad we opted not to include the visit to see the Tasmania Devils at the same time. We needed every minute we had at Port Arthur. We also enjoyed the cliff walk where we were fortunate to catch a glimpse of a pademelon ambling along. And the overall bus ride, though long, was also quite enjoyable - it gave us a true sense of this beautiful area. Thanks to Dan for also giving us some good restaurant recommendations in Hobart!

This tour is very good value for money. There are several stops each day and all the entrance fees are included in the full cost of the tour. Pick-up and drop-off are very prompt, and the tour guides are friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient. We were three seniors travelling on this tour and the each of the tour guides were flexible in allowing us to do as much or as little active participation as we wanted or could. Even if we did not take all the walks, we still took some beautiful photographs.
Wear sensible walking shoes, hats, water, sunscreen and light jacket as it can get cold in some areas you will visit.
