Great home made food, large portions, friendly staff.
Had the seafood banquet, dips, mixed grill and lamb confit. All excellent especially the lamb.

“tha'ts no duck”
Reviewed May 1, 2013

this is probably the most ridiculous restaurant I have ever been to. The meze was 4 very ordinary dips and a loaf of bread - bad enough - but no cutlery - what am I supposed to do, snort it? The staff were trying in every sense of the world. Even more ridiculous is the chef's special - confit of duck. I have been to Turkey on many occasions, and nobody cooks confit of duck like that anywhere. Gross - and overpriced to boot. Really, grab some fresh produce at the deli and stay home.

“A night out to forget!”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

To be fair, when we arrived at Anatolia they stated they were having a bad night. All the tables were full and exceeded their bookings (and planning). We were offered a table next to the musician after we'd specifically requested otherwise. So they moved us to what was clearly a temporary table with hard chairs next to the bar. However, we decided to stay.
We ordered some white wine and after a few minutes were informed that type was not available. We chose another and after some time it arrived in a ice bucket but straight from the box. We were informed we could have it in 10 minutes or so.
In the meantime we ordered food and it arrived within 2 minutes! In short, the food was terrible. $38 for a mixed grill of over-cooked, dry meat,an inedible prawn and mushy rice. The 'confit' lamb and risotto was slow cooked lamb (that was OK), on more mushy boiled rice and all covered in gravy. It looked awful.
To the manager's credit, we weren't charged. Mind you, we never even opened the wine and ate little of the food. It was a disappointing evening.

“Service Extraordinaire”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

Took Tripadvisr advice and chose this restaurant. Food was magnificent. Dips, Lamb Hotpot, mixed grill and sweets of Tukish delight (what else) and Baklava followed with Turkish coffee made a delightful evenings fare. In addition the desire to meet our needs were second to none. Four older travellers find large meals a bit much. The waiter offered that we might share. This meant we could also sample sweets. The flavours were wonderful and we all left satisfied but not over fed. Thank you for a wonderful night.

“Great food, service and atmosphere”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

We came to the restaurant on April 1, 2013 and had a great time. The food was excellent - we had the meze platter with homemade dips, seafood platter and mixed grill. All were great - the food was as close to what I had experienced in Turkey since I have been back in Australia. Service was great restaurant was run by a family and it really had that vibe - friendly and welcoming. We will be back!
