I have been here many times over the years, but not for 1 year or two.
Went as part of a group of 9 for a farewell. We ordered banquets - some meat and some seafood.
The food quality was OK, but not wonderful. But the quantities were meagre and totally insufficient to be called a banquet. For example, the meat platter for 5 people had two lamb cutlets, 3 chicken kebabs, 3 meat balls - you get the picture. The seafood platter had a bowl with what looked like curry soup - if you fished arouing with a fork, a few pieces of scallop or vegetable could be found - about 2 mouthfulls!
I won't be going back in a hurry!

This family-run Turkish restaurant serves delicious food. the service is friendly and attentive and the restaurant is not too noisy. I recommend it.

Had a meal there over the weekend.

The 3 of us shared some dishes. The bread and dip was delicious.

Lamb cutlets were ok, as was the chicken.

The highlight of the evening was the grilled eggplant, which was amazing. If the other dishes were of this quality I would happily give a 5 rating.

Nice meal, go the eggplant.

We had not made a booking and considered ourselves lucky to be able to get a table for eight as the restaurant looked very busy from the outside. We didn't realise there was an upstairs area with a private room for dining. This room proved to be excellent as we could all chat freely and hear each other easily.

There is an a la carte menu and also a banquet menu at $45 per head. We opted for the latter as it included an entree, (a choice of 3 platters -vegetarian , diverse meats and seafood) and dessert. We chose 2 meat platters and 2 seafood ones. The entree was the same for all the platters consisting of delicious just baked Turkish bread and freshly made dips.
There was plenty of food with each of the platters and the flavours were excellent. Favourites were the salmon and the lamb chops which had a lovely grilled/ barbequed taste. Separate salads were also included. I found the salads a little oily as I prefer my lettuce etc to be crispy.

The desserts comprised baklava which was delectable and an assortment of different flavoured Turkish delights.
We were impressed with the attentive and caring service - all in all , a great evening out.

It is a small Restuarant in the North Hobart district. The decor is Mediterranean and nice. The service was excellent and the meals even better. The fish was perfectly cooked and the serving size was more than adequate. If you like Mediterranean desserts they have excellent desserts also. Their signature dessert a chocolate fondant is magnificent but you need to leave room for it. The atmosphere was good and allowed us to discuss business without straining to hear. Highly recommended.
