I went on the Full Day Tour from Hobart. Although the weather on the day wasn't too good, it was a great day. Started off by coach from Hobart at 8am and after visiting the historic areas of Salamanca and Battery Point we made our way down to Kettering to catch the car/bus ferry for the short 20 minute trip across to Bruny Island. We then travelled down to Adventure Bay where we had tea/coffee and a muffin. Then it was onto the boat (there were 4 of them on this day) for the 3 hour trip down and back up the east coast of Bruny's south island. Absolutely spectacular scenery from the word go and if you add into that whales, fairy penguins, a seal colony and viewing an albatross to the mix made for a wonderful day. Unfortunately the sea was a bit choppy so a number of people were a bit rough, but certainly the staff were attentive to their needs to try and make the trip as enjoyable for them as well. Then it was back to Adventure Bay for lunch and for all the visitors to swap stories. then it was the drive back to the ferry and on to Hobart. Overall a marvellous experience to see both magnificent scenery and the wildlife, I would have to say well worth the cost.

Thank Stephen C

Go from Hobart for a little bit of history chat on the way or drive to Kettering and catch the boat over or go to Adventure Bay and start there. It is a great trip and you can do it solo or as a couple or family with probably teens but children okay if not too young.

We were blessed with perfect weather. What can I say - this was the most amazing day and sits in my memory as one of the best tours we have ever enjoyed. Our guides, Lee and Hugh were an asset to the company, they were passionate about their role and went out of their way to ensure that guests were comfortable and explain the journey down to the minutest detail. We saw sea lions basking on the rocks, and a whale being accompanied by what must have been at least 100 dolphins which were even swimming under our boat. The scenery ....... wow!

We are lucky that the weather is great... there are 3 boats out that day... the staffs are experienced, and have provided us with seasick pills prior setting off. And they keep asking if anyone was unwell.
The morning tea, however, is a disappointment. Only black coffee or coffee with milk or hot chocolate is available. The Blueberry muffin taste quite bad for Tasmanian standard - it was dry and hard.
Overall still a nice trip, and we are great that we go for this.

The staffs were very attentive and friendly.
Beanies and gloves were provided before the boat ride.
On the boat, there were raincoats for us to prevent ourselves from getting wet. The crew were nice to provide motion sickness pills for us.
The boat ride was very rough and many people on board was feeling pretty unwell. A few of them even puked.
The crew were observant enough to spot those who were unwell.
They were also knowledgeable and share with us stories about the cliffs and rocks.
The view was very nice but the seasick was indeed unbearable.
