I highly recommend hotel Collins. We don't know much about Hobart but the staff were great help and answered all our questions. We had to move around our booking on the day and they weren't fazed by that at all and quickly helped us with no fuss. The room was spacious and comfy (1 bed studio). The kitchen was fully equipped, even with real milk. The room service and restaurant/cafe had great food and was super efficient.

Great location, clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly, would stay again. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner we had there but it is in easy walking distance to Salamanca for more variety. If you have the time a visit to Theatre Royal nearby for their tour is well worth it.

Clean, quiet and comfortable, rooms on the small side but with large bed. Close to city and Salamanca. No free parking and no street parking but a parking place next door which was reasonable. Staff were friendly and efficient. We had a view of the hospital so ask for a sea view when you book.

Treated ourselves a weekend away, AFL grand final weekend. We found the staff friendly and helpful. Our room on the 10th floor had views across the city to Mt Wellington. The room was clean and comfortable with the mini bar well stocked and plenty of tea and coffee, not to mention real milk. It was within walking distance of most things Hobart has to offer.

Hotel Collins was recommended to us by friends and it more than lived up to our expectations. We stayed in an apartment and it was fantastic. The staff were lovely, especially the cafe staff who always had a smile while they made your coffee or served you dinner. Great location within walking distance of the wharf and Salamanca place. Offsite parking prices were quite reasonable. Will definitely come back.

From the moment we arrived we were blown away by the friendly, attentive staff. Our room was top floor facing the harbour so outlook fantastic. Room not large but we were comfy really. Bathroom a good size!! No sofa and only the chair at the desk but If we wanted to relax we headed to the lounge downstairs especially for happy hour at 5:00pm. Coffee plunger and real milk were a bonus. It's walking distance to anywhere. We did the Red Decker bus tour and you must do the Female Factory tour. Dinner specials at the restaurant were great at $28.00 including glass of wine or a beer. We didn't have brekky here as trying to save $$. I do wish it was included. Parking is out the back and Avis was around the corner! Couldn't believe our luck. Free wifi too. We stayed four nights and highly recommend it!!!

Clean, great blackout curtains, comfortable furnishings, wonderful pillows. Staff all very friendly and great meals. Easy walking distance to most things. We had plenty of privacy and room with our two bedroom, two bathroom unit. The only thing I didn't like was no on site gym/fitness centre, but small issue. The other bonus was real milk instead of long life, which I hate in my tea!!

Room Tip: We had two bedroom, which was a one bedroom with adjoining hotel room. Great set up, own bed and bat...
