Don't miss this day tour, where you get to see and smell the seals, look toward Antactica, feel the swell of the great Southern Ocean and eat local oysters, cheese etc.

A lovely island full of spectacular views, great walks, clean air, fantastic sunsets and the stars at night...
Don't just go for the day, stay overnight at least

“World class scenery - don't skip if you go to Bruny Island”
Reviewed March 25, 2012

There are a couple of flavours for this trip. One departs Hobart - is a full day trip including lunch. The other is a 3 hour trip departing Adventure Bay on Bruny Island - which is part of the larger trip. We took the shorter, cheaper 3 hour excursion which is the scenic part. The boat is very open - ideal for photos - wouldn't be much fun in rough or rainy weather. You head south down Bruny Island coast which includes + 200 meter sea cliffs - stunning. Stop offs include several sea caves and a blow hole plus seal colonies where you are plenty close enough to both see and smell them! Overall I'd recommend this trip - its not cheap, but the scenery is remarkable and worth the splurge

“Watch the Weather”
Reviewed February 24, 2012

I'm sure Bruny Wildlife Adventures wants its clients to have a wonderful experience. However, if the weather is the least bit questionable don't spend the money. Our day out was miserable - rain and rough water spoiled the day. It was difficult to enjoy the scenery and the animals. I give credit to the guides, and the quality of their equipment and boats. Nevertheless they shouldn't have operated when the weather wasn't favorable.

“Knowledgeble and friendly staff on a good day tour!”
Reviewed May 8, 2011

A very interesting tour with knowledgable staff, enjoyable despite the strong winds and high swell (well timed giving out of the hand-warmers by the crew!) We had amazing views of the coastline and the seals were awesome! No dolphins or whales this time (slightly too early but I will be back to see these!) Slightly expensive, but well worth a trip.
