When feeling like pasta we find it difficult to deviate from Paesanos. I booked an early table
so as not to be disappointed and even at 6;30pm this place is humming. For a change we took our wine and the corkage is very reasonable at $2. My better half a seafood pasta and i a new dish for me; the St Lucia[i think] We have learned the hard way so on this occasion we both ordered the entree size
with fettucini pasta. My wife raved about her dish but i felt that the combination of prawns, bacon mushrooms and spring onions with a creamy sauce was even better. The special desert was a brandy snap with a fruit jus and we ordered one portion but utensils came for two people to share.I feel that this is unnecessary but when in Rome etc.The desert was very good but at this juncture i would like to ask readers of this critique as to why every other diner eating the excellent Pizzas do so by using knives and forks. Is this only peculiar to Hobart or does it prevail on the mainland too? Come on Hobartians, loosen up and use your hands to eat pizza! you will discover they will taste even better.!
