Stayed here as part of a group and were in one of the standard 3 star units. I would recommend paying a bit extra and booking the deluxe units.
The unit we stayed in obviously had not been changed at all since it was built...so if you don't mind a unit that is 'aged' go for it!...also the decking are smaller and there is a difference in what is on it too.
Our unit was privately owned (not sure if all are) so it is obviously up to the owners if they put any money into giving it 'a breath of new life' or just want to keep it as it has been for the last few decades.
But the location is beautiful! You don't feel isolated as you can see Scamander further along the coast from the units/beach but you are well away from any bustling towns. A short stroll down to the beach and the pool is lovely (if you go on one of those rare Tassie summer days)!
The reception/restaurant are is nicely done and from what interaction I had with the staff they seemed friendly.
The resort is also well signed from the road.
Units are spaced apart but you are by no means isolated from the rest of them an because they are in rows you can very clearly see what is going on on your neighbours decking.
