John's Pizza Bar & Restaurant is well patronised by locals and tourists alike. They have a pleasantly warm indoor dining area, with very nice art on the walls + a closed-in outdoor area. Lots of families, not surprisingly, given the menu and the relaxed atmosphere. There is an extensive pizza & pasta menu + seafood, grills, chicken or veal parmigiana and a good list of light meals. 2 of shared a large pizza and a small Greek salad, both very good. The best bit was the pizza though - we had a large Spartan (tomato, cheese, marinated lamb, olives, salami, spanish onion, marinated tomatoes, fetta, oregano, spring onion), served with a side dish of tzaziki. We were very hungry, but the large was beyond us, and we brought away enough for lunch the next day. The wine list is basic and well-priced, we had a glass of the house shiraz (Morris estate) for $4.50 and it was quite drinkable. We'll definitely be back - next time think we'll try the Mediterranean!
