My family and I visited the Playford Restaurant as part of the Festival of Food. We had high expectations and were not disappointed.

The ambience at The Playford is just suburb. The whole environment is just a nice way to dine.

The food was suburb. We started with exquisite sourdough, moving to the entree tasting plate with the croquet a particular highlight from that. I had a fantastic medium rare wagu beef cut which was thoroughly delicious before finishing the meal with a perfectly done petit four.

The whole experience was amazing and I would definitely recommend.

We recently dined at The Playford Restaurant as part of the Festival of food. We started with what can only be described as the most delicious bread, which was a wholemeal and sunflower sourdough with salted cultured butter. This was followed by an entree tasting plate with 3 small bites of amazingness. For main we both had the Wagyu beef rump served with beef cheek pithivier and potato mousseline. We got a side of steam greens with an olive tapanade dressing. The beef was so tender, it melted in your mouth, everything was perfect. Dessert were housemade petit fours.

We dined during the bar's happy hour so we also enjoyed a cocktail and sparkling. The service by all the staff was impeccable, i felt special and cared for, they were attentive but not overbearing. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and created a romantic feel.

Overall, this was one of the best dining experiences we have had in Adelaide. Food, service and ambiance were on point. Do yourself a favour and go try this delightful dining experience.

If you’re in the market for a highbrow dinner, than this restaurant certainly delivers! We went with another couple and the food was tasty, wine even more so... expect to pay top dollar though, after all, you are receiving top service.

We were staying at a different hotel but could not resist the breakfast here, in fact we ate there three times. The food is exceptional and fresh , locally sourced. Interestingly there is a herb garden on the rooftop of The Playford . We were well looked after by the professional staff particularly Capri. Without any doubt she offered true hospitality. She is an absolute asset , seamlessly doing her job and making each guest feel important.
Our breakfast consisted of fresh fruits , yoghurts, Bircher meusli and pastries , various hot food and of course barista coffee ( which was a little extra).
Definitely we will be returning to this hotel which has incredible European designed decor . You can imagine you are in Parisian city or similar.
