Auge are on top of their game- with excellent food and service.

The Friday lunch special: 2 courses (from a special menu) for AUD 39- gives diners the opportunity to experience Auge's excellence at a very reasonable price.

The restaurant's decor is sophisticated and luxurious.

Service from the staff is professional, attentive and friendly.

The food is superb.

And, there's a well chosen wine list.

Highly recommended fora special occasion or an important business lunch.

Past the vintage Vespa and behind giant copper doors lies one of Australia's finest Italian dining establishments.
Our family of five experience at Auge was perfectly designed to suit each member of my family - a low fat mother, fussy chicken-liberationist father, a bottomless-pit stomached brother and my three courses and more husband and I!
As explained thoroughly by our waiter, there was absolutely no hassle for someone to omit an ingredient from a dish, order the degustation or simply have a main and an entree - comforting to know when most restaurants of this calibre require an 'all or none' participation when both an a la carte and degustation menu are offered.
Each course that I enjoyed was beautifully fresh and flavoursome. Judging by the minimal amount of conversation had over each meal (apart from the 'Mmmms' and 'oh wows!'), I can only vouch that every one at our table was experiencing their own culinary delights!
Glide in, sit down, enjoy each bite and let the very attentive and patient staff whisk you away to a world of sophistication without the pretentiousness.

Love this restaurant. Pricy but worth it! Toilets are up steep stairs and not so good after a few glasses of wine!
Food delicious. Decor London style. Waiters knowledgable about wines Good restaurant to take clients to or for that special occasion.

We booked this restaurant using reviews from various websites. They all said this restaurant was very good. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious but the service was experienced and welcoming which made our experience exemplary. The 12 hour cooked pork belly was utterly delicious and the semifreddo dessert fantastic. We had a great night out and were never rushed or pressured in terms of when courses can out or if we wanted anything else. this would have to be one of the best dining experiences we have had. Remember this when you are paying at the end. you are paying for a complete experience.

Auge provided us with one of the most memorable and enjoyable nights out ever. We were two couples, together to celebrate a birthday (my wife’s and her twin brother’s). They’d come from Geneva, we from Hazelwood Park. The service was relaxed, unpretentious, professional and exceptional. The food was even better. We made a night of it with the 6 course degustation with wine flights (a delicate, interesting and very good mix of Italian and local wines), and included a cheese course before dessert (in hindsight a little over indulgent, for one or two of us anyway). We had an 8:30 booking and left after 12:30, the last one’s out and the staff smiling and wishing us a great evening as we left (very professional – thank you). I fail to see how the evening could have been improved. I would highly recommend Auge to anyone wanting a great evening of excellent service and better food.
