Mai Kitchen offers an awesome array of vegan options. The Vietnamese pancake is one of the best things I've ever eaten. The vegan mango smoothies are delicious, too. The batter on my salt and pepper eggplant was really flavoursome and perfectly crunchy.
The only downside meal-wise was the vegan creme caramel I ordered - it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't what I was expecting, either. It didn't have the proper consistency, but I can see how that would be difficult to achieve without using gelatin.
The staff were very friendly despite being extremely busy and took the time to make sure we enjoyed our meals.
Unfortunately because of the business the restaurant was extremely loud, but it was worth dealing with that issue because the food was so good.
