The food was great and was of great value - potions were quite large. However a bottle of Heineken cost $8!! That was just a bit expensive and completely ruined the meal for me - just be careful of ordering drinks.

“Not bad for a quick dinner but not the best around.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2013

Wanted dinner before a fringe show and didnt book anywhere walking down and decided to try here. Was sat down on a lovely outside table and given water, ice and menus literally before I had even sat down. Got seafood pad thai, beef pad thai, green chicken curry and a mango chicken and a few beers and a bottle of wine and came to $150. The seafood in the pad thai was a bit rubbery and I've had better by far. The other dishes had good flavour but seems as though it was the same coconut curry base, the green and the mango tasted almost the same. Service was fairly good but we asked for the bill 3 times and ended up going to the bar to pay as we were in a hurry.

Dont know what another review was talking about but the 4 people we encountered during our dinner spoke english fine but with an accent obviously.

“Yum!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2013

We ate at the Lemongrass during the Fringe Festival . The city was bustling. We walked in and were quickly seated . We ordered Pad Thai and a Chet's special with Eye of Filet. The food was delicious! After dinner we had coconut ice cream and fried ice cream. They were both a delight! We were very impressed with our dining experience at the Lemonngrass Thai Bistro!

“Dissapointing”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 9, 2013

The meals were bland and service a little lacking. The restaurant was really busy which was why we chose to eat there as that's usually a good sign of a good meal. But due to the Fringe Festival being on with Fringe venues close by, I think it was a false reading. I would not eat here again.

“Well worth the walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 7, 2013

Tried to call and book for two days no one answered the phone ?
So walked down there on Sunday night from our hotel and it was heaving !
The Fringe festival was on so I guess that was why.
They seated us very quickly inside even without reservation ( I did try !) the food was first class, clean fresh and presented perfectly. The service was super efficient and so friendly.
2 adults with 2 beers and. Carafe of wine, starters and mains $80
Excellent value setting and service,
They Just need to pick the phone up !
