Tucked away off Rundle St near Palace Cinema, this is hard to find and not very busy midweek. Food is reliable and good value. Service is friendly, albeit a little eclectic at times

Thank Peter K

This place is worth a visit or two! I have to admit I nearly didn't walk in, the place wasn't full and when the owner started approaching us while we were standing outside reading the menu I nearly ran away. So glad I didn't. The food was fantastic, but it was the environment that sold it to me. The owner is somewhat 'quirky' and spends the night entertaining his multiple guests. He manages to do this in a way that isn't annoying and we ended up chatting with him well into the night. The best part of all was I never once felt rushed, to eat, drink, order more food and most importantly to leave. To be able to have a place where the food is great and the service is fantastic all while being able to spend the night eating and drinking is rare and I can see this place becoming a favourite!

Been there a couple of times and the food is excellent and the wine list comprehensive - the waiter or owner? has got a quirky sense of humour and makes for a pleasant evening - would strongly recommend a visit

I loved this little hidden gem, off Rundle Street across from The Elephant. Blink & you might miss it.

We were showed to our table & much to our surprise we realised the tables were covered in 'butchers paper' with a cup of crayons so you could 'doodle' the night away which I thought was a great idea.
Fantastic wine list & even better food!
We started off with a share platter consisting of local produce from all over South Australia, which was just lovely.
I had the pork belly as my main which was absolutely beautiful!
Can't wait to return. It was brilliant!
