The free tour only lasted 30 minutes so I will be back. Luxurious specially woven carpets bearing state emblems, comfortable leather chairs and benches throughout the building. Informative tour guide. Old library books emitting evocative scents in the huge libraries that an eReader just doesn't give you. Historical building worthy of your time. Granite from Victor Harbor, marble from Kapunda. The entry leads into a lovely space with a domed ceiling. Lots of security getting in, so try not to have too many metallic things in your pockets :)

“Good to visit and its Free!”

One of the best historic buildings to visit on North Tce. Tours avasilable at 10.00 am and 2.00 pm on non-sitting days. If Parliament is sitting get there at 21.00 pm to see the House of Assembly Question Time. Sometime it is quite interesting and noisey.

A part of the North Terrace stretch of beautiful and classic style buildings, worth a walk past them all to take in the architecture of the era, and significance of these treasured old buildings.
This photo however is not it! It is the Town Hall in King William Street.

A wonderful architectural structure too good for all the nonsens that reverberates around it's walls during Parliament sittings. Buidlings like this deserve more recognition.

“Interesting & Historical Venue”

It was both interesting and historical but scores average because too much of it becomes boring quickly - certainly not one for the kids!
