Stayed on the 6th floor and had great views of the park opposite the road.
Pillows are not that great but otherwise it was very good for a 3 day business trip.
pidgeon poo on the balcony but I could live with that.
More than basic but it ticked all the right boxes, close enough to eateries far away from the main drag.

Room Tip: Stay away from the lift well..

Stayed here for a few days. Nice hotel, good service, good breakfast. The big downside are the pillows. They are so hard that sleeping on them is nearly impossible. We did ask for different pillows, but they weren't any better.
Close to the cbd and the tram service.

Dear LorRei84
Thanks for reviewing your recent stay with us. I am sorry the replacement pillows were similar to the ones already on the bed - I will follow this up with our team as we do have pillows of varying type/firmness available for guests.
We look forward to welcoming you back next time you stay.
Kind Regards

This is our second stay at this hotel (same time last year). This time around we booked a family room, which was two adjoining rooms with two double beds in each room. I was with a group of friends and this turned out to be a really good option. Had to ask for the balcony doors to be cleaned and there was pigeon poo smeared across the glass which didn't look very good. We stayed for 5 nights. On the first night, one of the girls spilt a cup of tea on their sheets and the sheets were not changed for the whole 5 nights. So, the cleaning could do with improvement but the rest was all very good. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was perfect for what we wanted and the price was very affordable. Short walk to tram stop and a quieter option than some of the hotels closer to the centre of the city. Will stay again if we come back next year.

Dear atholmes
Thanks for staying with us and we are pleased you again enjoyed your visit.
We are sorry to have missed the spillage and also for not changing the sheets in line with our standards. Housekeeping have been reminded of these Standards and our expections with regard to ensuring any soiled linen is changed promptly.
The family room deal is indeed a great way to reduce costs when travelling with others and is proving to be a very popular addition for our guests.
We look forward to welcoming you back again next year and thanks again for bringing your experience to our attention.
Kind Regards

I have stayed here a few times in the past and just keepncom I no back. Some of the rooms have been renovate and updated which is great. Nice central location, with park across the road for a spot of exercise.

Breakfast is well catered and staff are very pleased to help.

If I were to give visitors a tip, get down to breakfast early especially on a weekend as it fulls up fast.

Dear RachealP
Thanks for returning again and writing a review. I am pleased you enjoy your stays and have passed on your comments to our team.
As mentioned, we have upgraded our standard rooms recently and these are now very similar to those on the upper floors which were previously refurbished and offer guests a consistent product throughout the property.
We look forward to welcoming you back when next you stay.

Not really worth the amount we paid for it even though it was a wotif special executive room. The toiletries had not been replaced so the conditioner he been opened used and not replaced and the shampoo from the room was missing, left me wondering if the room was actually cleaned! Then today checked bank statement with $100 pending transaction from the hotel. We were miffed so called and got a rather abrupt gentleman who said because we didn't present our credit card on departure (we paid cash) they weren't able to remove the authorised $100 arrival transaction! Now we have to wait ten to twelve days for it to be removed or advise of our credit card details over the phone! Would have been nice to be informed on arrival!

Dear Amanda R
Thanks for the feedback on your recent stay.
Front Office do generally inform guests on check-in of the Credit Card pre-authorisation process and we include a business card further explaining this which is presented with the room key wallet. We apologise this may have been missed on your check-in and for any inconvenience you may have experienced as a result.
I have shared your comments with our Housekeeping & Front Office teams for improvement in these areas.
Kind Regards
