“Delicious and great service”

My wife and I love this hidden gem its a family run restaurant and every dish is delicious. The restaurant has a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere and the service is excellent. Highly recommended, plenty of car parking spots nearby in the side street.

“WoW!!”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

Loved this Restaurant. We have never eaten Himalayan food before, so we didnt know what to expect. Well it was fantastic!! It was like a mix of Asian and Indian, DELICIOUS!! We recieved a comlenmenrty starter dish to try while waiting for our meals, enjoyed it very much a type of pancake with condiments, this certainly goit us excited about what was to come! Mains arrived a marinated Chicken dish cooked in a clay oven with a salad all tasted amazing, a melt in your mouth goat dish once again cooked in the clay oven, rice and garlic Rotti bread,Staff very friendly and after our meal the owners children brought over some beautiful engraved metal bowls and explained that they are used for meditation, she then showed us how to make them sing! by running a drum like stick with cloth on the end round the outside of the bowl they give off a beautiful sound. A very nice way to end a very enjoyable evening. Will go again, so much more on the menu to try.

“Nice meal”
Reviewed December 16, 2012

I hadn't eaten Himalayan food before and my dish was similar to Indian curry dishes I'd had before. It was very tasty and the restaurant had a nice ambience.

“compact but tasty”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

having tried nepalese at a couple of other places and found it to be basically more expensive indian, we were pleasantly surprised by the food here as it was tasty and different to indian although still dearer than indian. We ordered a number of dishes and our favourites were the Festival Chicken and Sherpa Lamb.
it is not huge inside so would recommend booking just in case as you may miss out.

Service was friendly and reasonably prompt
