“The buildings and museums on it are great... otherwise it's a road?”
Reviewed July 14, 2013

The buildings look interesting, but inside was better then outside. Maybe if you have lots of time, (or none) it's worth it, otherwise see what you see as you go around the museums!

“A classic urban stroll.”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

It feels like each step uncovers another wonderful piece of grand old architecture along North Terrace. Worth a wander along, especially if combined with a walk around the Botanic Gardens at the end.

“Anzac Day parade”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

Loved the atmosphere and meeting people going to their respective regiments, and the colourful displays of their banners. The music from the array of brass bands was also great, and you had to be their to appreciate it!

“Relaxing stroll and beautiful buildings”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

One sunny day as I was driving down North Terrace I decided to stop and take a walk. I have never appreciated where I live as I did on that day. I went to the South Australian Museum and bought a coffee and took a quick walk through it, and then onto to the Art Gallery. I then kept walking towards the university and just admired all the architecture and stunning buildings Adelaide has. I ended up stopping there again two weeks later on a glorious day and sat on the lawns outside the museum and watched children running around having so much fun. I love the beauty of Adelaide and now make an effort to walk more around the city. Also love going to the banks of the River Torrens with children and feeding the ducks. Adelaide has the most beautiful parklands. The only downfall is the parking - it would be nice to be able to enjoy a picnic during the week without the fear of being fined if you exceed the time limit. If you have some time take a stroll down North Terrace and you'll find yourself fascinated with the beauty, as in a car you don't get to appreciate it much as you do when taking a lovely stroll. You can do it on your own, you don't need to have company, as there's so much around you! Have fun!

“A pleasant boulevard”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

North Terrace has really developed into a nice place to stroll now, after its facelift a few years ago - the trees have grown and plants well established. It does Adelaide proud.
