“Pleasant walk especially in February.”

Nice place to walk along, plenty of old buildings to look at. The museum and gardens are off the North Terrace along with the Uni.

“A must do for Adelaide.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013

The Moreton Library is worth the visit to appreciate the architecture inside with historical memory jogging memorabilia. Next door is the Museum while not large contains excellent collection of stuffed animals....is that lion real look at his tail!!!. Often in school holiday's there are special "kids activities" also has Australias best collection of Aboriginal artifacts. Moving on is the Art gallery well laid out and often with an exhibition, sometimes an International one.. As you walk along on the Nth side of the Terrace are plaques set in the paving denoting some achievements by Sth Australian residents past and present.. On the corner of Nth Terrace and King William Road is Government House which opens to the Public about 3-4 times a year. You might be lucky.....Enjoy.

“Boulevard Pride”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 25, 2013

The North Terrace frontage and parkland is immaculately kept by Adelaide city council. It is a beautiful boulevard maintained with pride, and consequently invites you to take a pleasant walk along its length. There is plenty to see including several monuments, historic building architecture, grandiose trees and manicured gardens. Even on a hot summer's day there is enough open space to allow a cooling breeze to enjoy this stroll. Not to be missed.

“Nothing Special on North Terrace”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 13, 2013

North Terrace visit coincided with stay at the Intercontintal Hotel and we visited the casino but other than that it's just another city street but with very little interest.
