“Just OK”
Reviewed April 19, 2013

Tried out this restaurant tonight after it was recommended by a friend. It was a bit pricey, but we expected that after reading some of the reviews. E.g. the Mixed Grill platter or the Seafood platter were both $90 each. We asked for a jug of water and were brought a bottle of spring water worth $7. The serves were quite large, so the platter would have probably fed all of our family of 4. We ordered a mixed grill platter, a smaller plate of chicken/seafood/chips ($40) and a greek salad, and had quite a bit left over which we took home with us. We all agreed that even though the food tasted OK the flavour was the same whether you were eating quail, chicken shashlick, lamb shashlick or lamb chop......it all tasted chargrilled. Maybe they need to try different marinades for each type of meat. The kalamari was nice and tender. Would have like to try some of the desserts but were too full. The atmosphere is nice, reminded me of a restaurant you would find in Greece with greek music playing in the background. A tip now that the cooler weather is starting, when you book ask that your table is not near the door because everytime someone came in or out the cold wind would come in too and thus cool down the food as well. The staff were nice and friendly.

“O.K but Kefi better”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

the set up was good inside & outside dining but they had the most uncomfortable seats you would have in a Restaurant , we had a outside table with ant's on our table so we moved, we asked for no quail's in our main course & change it to extra other meats but they still brought quail's to us & when i told them they took over 30 mins to reply back to us & said it was the waitress fault so they gave us free coffee instead at least.
the only reason i went to this restaurant was to compare food from it's other family member that own's Kefi , sorry to say that Kefi was alot better food & size when served.

“Nice atmosphere, alright!”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

We came here for a friends birthday dinner and it was also our first time ever trying Greek food, I found the atmosphere quite nice and the food was alright. We ended up over ordering a bit cos we weren't sure of how big the size of the dishes were but I suggest that if you go in groups its better off ordering there meat or seafood platters which is about $90 each. I thought the drinks were a bit pricey though, which explains why the waiter kept asking us 2-3 times if we wanted anymore drinks. We were surprised when we received the bill to see that a bottle of house water was $7 when normally it would be free at any other restaurant.

“NOT HAPPY”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

some of the food was great eg fried cheese, dips, fish platter, quail but some was just terrible eg lamb was tough and tasted of nothing, put that aside the service was the worst i have ever experienced always and i mean always having to get one of thewaiters attention that seem to be walking around a dream world, i gave it two stars because some of the food was good
never going there again
