How good is this orchestra? Just close your eyes & listen. And a conductor who has personality & allows his members to have one as well.

Great artists, looking forward to seeing them with Human Nature in a few weeks. Play modern songs so keep up with the times. Also perform with other visiting artists which is greally great

“This is a great orchestra. Make sure you see it when you are in Adelaide”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2012

The musicians are World class, as are the principal conductor and concertmaster. The Adelaide town Hall, where they mostly play is a beautifully restored and grand hall, but the atmosphere is intimate enough to make it homely. The acoustics are very good.

“World class versatile Orchestra- if you're visiting Adelaide, it's worth attending one of their performances”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2012

This versatile and hard working orchestra offers a broad program each year- ranging from serious classical music concerts through light classics, lunchtime recitals, and on to special events, such as "The Cook and the Chef" - a concert and cooking demonstration, and providing a live soundtrack for a screening of the "Lord of the Rings" movie.

If you're visiting Adelaide, it's worth visiting their website to see if they're performing.
